It takes a community to build a center and it takes a community to run a center, Each yea
r more and more community members benefit from the programs offered at the Lyons Community Center. In 2003 over one third of the community actively participated in the programs at the center. The facilities at the new location on Manhattan Street will not only provide ample space for the growing needs and population of Lyons. It will also be recognized, county wide as one of the largest and most modern community centers in the area.
